Rococo Gardens
Garden Name: Rock & Shell
Garden Size: 5.5m x 5.5m
Description of Garden: A garden to demonstrate the kind of plants that will thrive on the East coast of Scotland, designed in a creative and modern way.
The term Rococo is derived from the French words rocaille and coquille (rock and shell). Rococo art is based on the study of natural forms, it is dominated by asymmetry and curves. The name of our company Rococo was chosen as we believe good landscape and garden design is based on the understanding and study of the natural environment, we have developed this show garden to try and convey all these points and hope to inspire anyone lucky enough to live near the coast to be creative with their planting as they might be surprised what can grow and thrive beside the sea...
