If you want to find the best plants, catch the latest gardening trends, find a designer to transform your own garden or ask the experts about anything from growing vegetables to keeping bees, then this is the one Show that you won’t want to miss!

Dates and Venue

The 2014 Show will take place from Friday 30th May to Sunday 1st June at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh.


Advance tickets are on sale now.

Friday tickets cost £15 in advance or £17 on the gate.

Saturday or Sunday tickets cost £13 in advance or £15 on the gate.

Advance tickets carry a 50 pence booking fee per ticket charged by Eventbrite. Children under 16 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Concession rates are not available.

Please note that advance tickets for Friday can be used on any one day of the Show. Advance tickets for Saturday or Sunday can be used on either Saturday or Sunday. If you wish to use Saturday/Sunday tickets on Friday the extra £2 per ticket can be paid to upgrade at the gate.

Friday: 10am – 5pm

Saturday: 10am – 5pm

Sunday: 10am – 5pm

Advance ticket holders can access the Show from 9.45am


There is ample car parking available at Gardening Scotland. The Royal Highland Centre apply a £5 parking charge.

Disabled Visitors

There is a forward car park for disabled badge holders situated at the north gate entrance to Gardening Scotland: the approach will be fully AA signposted.

Wheelchairs and scooters for disabled visitors will be provided by Shopmobility who will be situated next to the disabled car park. Wheelchairs and scooters can be booked with Shopmobility from the beginning of May by phoning 0131 557 4123.


Lothian Buses provide a dedicated bus service from Edinburgh city centre to and from Gardening Scotland. A timetable will be available here closer to the event.

No dogs, other than Guide Dogs, will be admitted to the Showground.


There is a wide selection of indoor and outdoor catering available at Gardening Scotland – from teas, coffees and snacks, to sit down meals and afternoon teas in the Garden Café.
