Gardening Scotland works closely with Scottish Women’s Institutes, many of whom choose to have their summer outings at the Show.
Groups have travelled from as far afield as Rosemarkie in Ross-Shire and Beattock near Moffat to enjoy the atmosphere and spectacle of the national gardening and outdoor living Show.
SWI is an important part of Gardening Scotland, challenging its members to enter competitions for the best decorated flower pot, 3 decorated cupcakes, and for the best window box. These competitions are run exclusively for SWI at Gardening Scotland and entries will be displayed at the Show for 40,000 visitors to see.
