Give the gardener in your life a Christmas present they’ll love with tickets to Gardening Scotland 2020.

Next year marks the 21st anniversary of the national festival of flowers and tickets are now on sale for the show, which will take place from Friday 29 May until Sunday 31 May at the Royal Highland Centre Edinburgh.

A limited number of Super Early Bird tickets are available at the very special price of £13 – a saving of £6 off the price on the door – and this year four new routes have been added to the highly-popular travel and ticket packages that whisk garden lovers from across Scotland directly to the show.

Now visitors can hop on-board a luxury coach at 32 pick-up points across Scotland, including Aberdeen, Inverness, Ayr, Coatbridge, Hawick, Dumfries and North Berwick.

Afternoon teas are a favourite feature of the show and tickets, coach travel, teas and more can be booked here with gift cards available to download too!

Gardening Scotland is the country’s biggest gardening show, with a festival atmosphere and an unrivalled line-up of top nurseries selling quality plants. Alongside the Plant Pavilion packed with glorious flowers there’s also a Plant Village as well as Show Gardens, demonstrations, expert advice, a Prosecco tent and Gin Garden, a Big Back Garden filled with family fun, dozens of exhibitors selling every possible gardening accessory, live music and a whole lot more.

Gardening Scotland organiser, Martin Dare, says: “Next year is a very big anniversary for Scotland’s leading festival of plants and flowers and we can promise an unmissable event for anyone who loves their garden.”

Gardening Scotland 2020 Celebrating 21 Years of Giving

Gardening Scotland was established as a Charity (SC030353) in 1999, by a group of volunteers passionate about horticulture, with the simple intention of encouraging people to make the most of green spaces around them and inspire a new generation to become involved in gardening.

From those humble beginnings, Gardening Scotland has grown significantly, providing invaluable support to numerous organisations.

In 2020 the Charity is celebrating 21 years of giving…. 21 years of helping others to flourish and to thrive…… 21 years of cultivating meaningful partnerships supporting amazing causes.

More than £75,000 given in donations through the Small Grants Programme

Using income generated from the annual Gardening Scotland Show, the Charity has provided more than £75,000 in donations through the Small Grants Programme, to organisations including Perennial, The Caley, Aberlour Childcare Trust, Pathways Adult Support Services, City of Edinburgh Eco Schools Project and Trellis (Scottish Therapeutic Gardening Network).

£100,000 offered annually in Gifts in Kind

Nearly £100,000 of Gifts in Kind is offered annually, by way of free stand space, enabling other charities to have a presence at the Show and raise vital funds and awareness of their cause; ticket give aways and the provision of free space for show gardens.

Furthermore, Charity Partners each year have enjoyed heightened exposure of their work and many opportunities to fundraise during The Gardening Scotland Show.  With nearly 1 Million visitors to the Show during the last 21 years, this has become a highly sought after partnership opportunity.

Help us to do more…….  by buying a ticket to Gardening Scotland 2020 you are helping Gardening Scotland to keep on giving and supporting others.
